Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Wishing you all (that is, if there's anyone there) not a politically correct Happy Holidays, but a very politically uncorrect Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The World seems to have forgotten that Christmas is about the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christmas.

A Terrible Towel for Drivers

NASCAR needs a terrible towel. Not for the fans, but for the drivers. This occurred to me a couple of times this past season, likw when I was reading about Scott Speed boo-hooing about losing his job at Red Bull, or Denny Hamlin boo-hooing about losing the championship. Seems the drivers are always boo-hooing about something.

Leave The Chase alone

The 2010 season proved the Chase works just fine, so dear NASCAR , leave it alone...

Jimmie Johnson

I am constantly reading things which put forth the supposition that JJ would not be as great under the pre-chase points system. Seems to me that if the 48 team had to race under the old format, they'd still be the best. Certainly, people that hold this view ignore the fact that if they were under the old system, THEY WOULD PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO BE THE BEST AT IT like they do in the Chase. Mark my words (The Politically Incorrect NASCAR blogger predicts on 12/10/10), 30 years from now JJ will be regarded as one of the greatest drivers of all time. So wake up, Jimmie Bashers!

Richard Petty Motorsports

I read this past week where Richard Petty Motorsports found the financing to break away from the Gillettes. I suppose from a historical standpoint, this is a good thing...but I don't see where it's going to put them in contention like all the analysts are predicting. A.J. Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose are good drivers, but neither is of the same caliber as, say, Jimmie Johnson. Perhaps somewhere down the road they will be, but for now, don't expect much from the 9 or 43.

The 2010 Season

The 2010 season has just ended, and, despite the fact that they struggled this year, the 48 came out on top again. The season could have turned out different had Hamlin not choked, like he always does when the pressure is on.

Congradulations Team Lowe's on your fifth consecutive championship.

In fact, the Hendrick cars generally sucked this past season. Too bad. I was hoping to see Mark Martin be in the hunt again, after his great 2009 season.

It's kind of funny. Jimmie had a bad season, and won the championship. Harvick had a great season, and didn't.
